Really strange that ABC (which can go f*ck themselves) would
pull the final 4 episodes so they can air it this summer, if we
are lucky. The speculation by fans is that the network is going
to try to relaunch the series from the start and hope it can
catch fire and thus save the show. As much as I would like to
see it play out like that, personally I think it's nothing more
than a cheap way to drum up business for the eventual DVD
release and use the '4 unaired episodes' in it's marketing push
to sell to those that want to see how it ends as I don't see
them even airing the episodes this summer at all. We shall
       see.......

Yup, ABC actually stuck to their word and aired the first of the
last four episodes they promised viewers. But the show itself is
cancelled. There is no 're-launching' the series in the hopes
that it catches on. As for the episode itself.....
...it kind of took a few minutes before I could get back into
it. I had to searched my brain to remember some of the smaller
things that were set up earlier. After that, it was like putting
on well-worn shoes and everything started to click again. As
soon as Lou opened her mouth to Lex, I knew right away she was
going to reveal that she had 'hit someone with her car'. What
Lou doesn't know is that Lex was that 'someone' that left her
crippled, which of course led her to Gavin, which of course led
to her making a deal with the Devil which would allow her to
       walk. Nice twist.
The ending was interesting, but a bit confusing. So Jane
'free's' that girl trapped in the mirror, releasing her from the
Drake once and for all and now is able to move onto the other
side. But with the mirror tampered with, it releases something
else.....Black Oil. And then Jane wakes up from her dream. So,
she was dreaming freeing the girl....and oil, yet we cut to a
shot of the black oil leading to the 117 year old man in bed,
who now has rejuvenated to a Thirty-Something year old man. I
really hope that ABC did a day or two of re-shoots to wrap this
series up during its extended hiatus.

No sh*t, huh? Doesn't make sense. But then again, I never earned
a degree in stupidity that would have gotten me a job at any of
       the Networks.

We've talked about the stupidity of networks on regular basis.
I’m starting to see articles on the future of networks. With the
change in viewing habits with streaming, online and over half of
TV viewers subscribing, I would think the networks would start
to get a lot smarter on their product. The Networks numbers are
declining all the time with them getting a smaller and smaller
       slice of the pie.
I’m seeing (so you know the networks are seeing) people getting
tired of reality shows, or they want to push it further to a
very specific kind of reality show. That’s why you have a
million different kind storage shows, or junk shows, or
relationship shows. The slices of pie get smaller and smaller.
I would think it crazy or brilliant that a network would
       experiment like this.
Bottom line, I would think it insane for a network not do
anything. If they continue with the same old business model,
they will be history. It doesn’t take much to look back at
companies that no longer exist because they were not reactive or
       proactive.

One of the biggest head scratching moments for me recently
regarding Networks is CBS of all things. For the most part, they
are probably my favorite Network as far as getting content to
the viewers any way they can. But even they are shortsighted.
They are the only one of the Big 5 Networks that will not allow
Hulu to carry any of their shows which cuts off a major chunk of
potential eyes that could get their products.
So why do I like CBS? Well, for starters, they air their new
episodes on their site as fast as half an hour after the initial
broadcast on TV. This is incredibly fast. NBC will air the
following day as does ABC. FOX will not air any of their new
episodes until 8 days later. Dumb. FX and AMC refuse to air
       anything online. Dumber.
A&E shocked me by airing the complete run on Bates Motel on
their site. Still won't let Hulu host. But I will take A&E
hosting if that's my only option.
But the biggest shocker for me is CBS refusing to air any
episodes of Person of Interest (after Season 1). They won't even
host it on their own frickin' website. In spite of this, the
show is thriving and is one of the most popular series going for
CBS right now. How is this possible? Because they aired all of
Season 1 on their site and people found it and stuck with it.
So, I think it's pretty telling that if the content is made
available online, it can and will succeed, which should tell
them right there that online is the new way to watch shows or at
least sample shows that you wouldn't normally know about. They
have the mentality that it's 1970's. What they fail to realize
is that in this day and age, there are thousands of channels now
and each one has 100's of shows. How can they expect anyone to
know what is on...what is new and when it airs? Stuff slips into
the cracks and never are given a fair chance....i.e......666
       Park Ave.
