Solid episode with a big twist/reveal at the end. It's not so
much as who the characters is, but who is portraying the
character...

[spoiler]...when it's revealed that Alex's mother is still alive
as she makes her way back home in Russian. It's when we see that
it's Sarah Clarke (24) is playing her. Ever since the debut of
Nikita, I have been waiting for her to pop up somewhere down the
road, given the fact that she is married to Xander Berkeley
(Percy) and they have worked together before on 24, CSI and The
Booth At The End. It was only a matter of time before they added
Nikita to their list. I just never thought it would be a plum
role like that of Katya Udinov. I'm sure they will set it up
that she and Percy of a relationship that is more
than...business.

Haha. I called it. With Michael and Owen trying to figure out
exactly what Percy's endgame is with regards to the Guardians,
he makes mention that they may have to break him out.

I kind of suspected the way it unfolded with Katya (Sarah
Clarke) in betraying Alex. No shock there. Also, it was nice of
the writers to finally get back to Ryan Fletcher (Noah Bean). I
was beginning to wonder if they just dropped him all together
since he hadn't been on any recent episodes. Pretty cool
sticking him in the cage with Percy. Remains to be seen where
Ryan ends up at, but be sure to know that Nikita and the gang
will bust him out as well....or he sacrifices himself to save
Percy and the rest for the 'cause" so that they can make their
escape. Yep, another prediction.

It would have made more sense to call this episode Game Changer
in hindsight, even though the title was used earlier in the
season. This is exactly what it is. The power shift is underway.
I've been saying all season long that a certain group of rogue
agents would break Percy out. It didn't quite play out as I had
planned. I was wrong. I knew he would bust out, I just didn't
get it right with regards of who breaks him out. Well, it
remains to be seen what happens yet. Major cliffhanger and I
can't wait to see where this is going. A great season just got
better. It was really cool to see Nikita, Alex, Birkhoff and
Michael sharing the same scene together again. Master
manipulator that Percy is, to get Amanda to make a mistake like
that, just by the simple act of spurning her gets her to play
her card and try to execute him. Awesome episode for sure.

Haha. Going back over the entire thread, I have a tendency to
think each episode is the best one ever. Just a testament to the
fact that the series is one of the best shows on TV right now.
Just a great season so far.

This one picks up right where we left off in the last one as
Nikita and the rest of the gang race against time to stop
Percy's men from initiating the trigger that will release the
gas inside of Division. The outcome was never really in doubt
and the big reveal at the end with Ari Tasarov and Amanda
working together wasn't all that big of a shock to me. Kinda saw
it coming. I was hopeful that it would be a 3rd party that we
haven't seen yet, who could have been played by someone like
Operations (Eugene Robert Glazer) from La Femme Nikita. Now THAT
would have been awesome to see. Ari does mention that he still
has to answer to HIS boss, so it could still play out like that.
