I am interested to see how this all plays out. With Nikita not
able to get inside info on Division's plans, or of the new group
of evil people, I wonder how she will be able to thwart their
plans.

My guess...Alex is still working with Nikita, but for this
season, we the viewers will be kept in the dark to elevate the
tension and the reveal will obviously come at the end of Season
2.

What a fantastic opening to Season 2. The ensuing firefight at
the motel was pretty cool, especially when the air raid came in.
When those planes flew in, I was like "Division is ordering an
air strike at a motel?" Of course it turned out to be remote
controlled planes. But still...
The funniest moment in the episode came when Birkhoff at getting
frustrated that Division was trying to trace his line while
Michael was talking to Amanda on cam, lets his emotion get the
better of him, revealing himself to be working with both Michael
and Nikita, which is something he wanted to avoid all together.
To punctuate the scene, Michael looks into the camera and says
to Amanda, "...by the way, Birkhoff is not working with us".
Hahahahaha.
I'm gonna have to revised what I believe the ending of Season 2
will be. I still believe that Alex and Nikita will be on the
same side at the end, more so now than I did before when I made
the prediction. My revision is this: Nikita and Michael with the
help of Alex and Birkoff will break Percy out of lock up.

I agree, a great episode and opening to the season. I was
worried that they wouldn't be able to capture the same feel as
the first season, but they started it off right. However, it
has very similar aspects to ALIAS in how it has evolved, but I
loved ALIAS so this doesn't bother me.
