Tenacious D came out on HBO back in 1997 and ran for a total of
3 episodes. Each episode itself was basically 2 skits per half
hour. So, with so little content, I never thought they would
ever release this on DVD. I immediately picked this up when it
first came out and I was actually stunned at just how much stuff
they packed into this 2 Disc Set. Not only do you get the
aformentioned episodes, but it also comes with a complete Full
concert along with a host of other goodies like videos and
behind the scenes stuff. But at it''s core, everyone gets this
DVD for the episodes, which still ROCKS!. It's just a shame that
this is all they created for the series. My favorite skit easily
is The Fan with Lee. It's the most complete skit they have from
start to finish and it's still damn funny after all these years.
I highly recommend this as a Buy.
