Almost every Opening Credits relating to the Bond Films could
qualify for this thread. Just sayin'.

Yep, it's part of the fabric of the film and expected.

Having just watched The Spy Who Loved Me
  HTML http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/the-spy-who-loved-me-(1977)/msg14368/#msg14368,<br
/>it's time to add one of the best and certainly one of my all
time favorite Credit Scenes from a Bond film. I will most likely
add each credit scene after going through my James Bond Marathon
       currently in effect.

I meant to post these a couple of days ago. Better late than
never. I like all 3 openings, particularly that of 2 & 3 because
it's basically used as a "recap" in an ingenious way instead of
what a typical serialize TV show uses with their "Previously
on....." Of the 3, I absolutely love 2 because it uses artwork
from the amazing Alex Ross, who is a god among gods in the art
       world.

Although the song is kinda weak compared to some of the better,
classic Bond songs, I do still enjoy the Opening Credits for
Moonraker. It's nowhere near that of The Spy Who Loved Me
       though, that's for sure.

As I point out in my review for For Your Eyes Only
  HTML http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/for-your-eyes-only-(1981)/msg14949/#msg14949,<br
/>this is the best part of the entire movie for me. One
interesting fact that immediately caught my attention when I saw
this in the theater was having the one singing the theme song
appear in the Opening Credits. To my knowledge, this was the
only time that's ever happened. Bravo Sheena Easton, you have
       made history.

Huh, don't recall that song. I believe you're correct about the
       singer in the credits.

       Licence To Kill (Opening Credits)

No, I don't think these two Opening Credits are cool. The Living
Daylights is actually pretty bad, add a sh*tty song to the mix
and it fails, big time. The License To Kill Opening is slightly
better and has a decent song, but it's far from what their best
have been in the past. So, why am I posting these? Head to the
       next post and see, b*tches!

When I saw the GoldenEye opening, I was blown away by its
awesomeness. They went back to the source material of some of
the best sequences in Bond history. There is absolutely no flaw
to be found in this. Plus, I love the song by Tina Turner. If
there is one criticism of this sequence, its the PC nature of
it. Gone are naked chicks for the most part and in are clothes.
Grrrr!! Other than that, I can watch this over and over........
