I did learn kasmir a few months back...it's not very hard...you
just have to d-tune your guitar quite a bit which is a pain when
       it's only for one song.
very fun to play that descending riff for the bridge
       though...that's my favorite bit.

I remember this particular video from a few months ago and it
was one of the better ones that I've come across.

       nice git fiddle
       :)
Immigrant is a tough riff because of the speed...I've never
really been able to play it as well as I'd like
       and it's only 2 damn notes~!

That's why you need to add more 'Hello Kitty' guitars to your
arsenal. One each for whatever tuning you desire. But your gonna
need a roadie that knows his s h i t, one that can set up
your guitars before each and every gig.

I am still dreaming very hard of some way some how getting back
       into music.
hit the swap meet this morning....just to see if I could grab
some cheap records...but I was staring at the sports arena
thinking of all the great bands I'd seen there....all the bands
like Zeppelin and Hendrix that played there before my time.
I really feel like I need to do that once....just some way some
how...write a record and hope either a top band gets into it
from hearing it online.....or a label finds me and they throw me
       on tour.
       that's the dream.
       :)

You'll get there dude. Just keep practicing every night like
you're doing. And here's another riff to add to your bag of
       tricks..........

It's funny how when you first hear a song, especially when
you're just getting into playing guitar, songs can sounds so
complicated. But upon further inspection, it's usually 2,3,4
       chords at most.

       great Ace Frehley guitar site.
and the link to the New Gibson guitar....not instruction per se
but if this doesn't inspire you to play...you need to see a
       doctor.
