This looks like a pretty cool site for Concert bootlegs. I
haven't even had time to go through it all. There's so much to
browse through. I don't know how they can sell all these and not
get shut down. No idea how long they have been in business or
how reliable they are, but if I find something I like I may pull
the trigger on it since they are dirt cheap.

I'll never buy one. My local used music store has these and from
what I've seen, they just don't live up to the professional
quality I expect. After seeing a well done concert, bootlegs
       just would piss me off.

But what about shows from the 70's that will never see the light
of day on DVD? Those are the ones I personally would want to
get. Not saying that I will, but they are the first ones to
check out. Nothing can top a professional shot concert and DVD
       production for sure.

I get what your saying. There are several out there where the
group never did capture their concert. I would LOVE to recapture
that, but my tastes in perfectionism overrides that desire to
see something captured. It just ruins the experience for me.
It's happened with bootleg albums, CD's and video's.
       Disappointing me every time.
I thought I talked about the Ozark Mountain Daredevils cluster.
I think you can see which one I wrote

Jo King "PhilMcKracken" ? I'm gonna say this one is yours
because you still have "Little Old Town in Midwest" sewn into
       the back of your underwear.

       looks cool.
Bootlegs can be very hit and miss...but if it's a band you
love...sometimes just the audio is worth it.
sometimes the camera is a single shot way back...obviously now
with all the hand helds....you can get way better footage than
       back in the "old days"

Hey, the best shot bootleg ever that kick's 'professional shot
productions' is KISS' Conventry Gig. No lie.
As for the sites selection, the two Holy Grail Concerts that I
have been looking for for years is KISS' Animalize Tour with
Mark St. John (before Bruce Kulick took over for him) and Van
Halen's 1984 Tour (San Diego, 2nd show for obvious reasons). The
VH show is more of a fantasy wish list because I know it doesn't
       exist. But KISS' does.

I am sure you'll find it if it exists.....there's a lot of hard
core kiss fans.....it'll be out there.

       [glow=red,2,300]Elton John – Million Dollar Piano[/glow]
Without trying to sound cliché, I’ve been a fan of Elton John
from his very first recordings. My fandom did wane after Blue
Moves, but I kept abreast of his output. Elton is prolific and
his performances are jaw dropping entertaining.
That view may have changed. I recently watched Elton John’s
latest performance captured, known as the Million Dollar Piano.
A Vegas show with a ton of glitter and shiny lights. That is not
new. That has always been and will be Elton.
He and the band’s performance is what sucked. If there was ever
a show that was called in, it would be this Million Dollar Show.
Elton has definitely lost some of his voice. The band and
singers all had their spots on the stage. I swear one of the
female singers was actually irritated to be there.
The song selection really kind of nailed it shut as an old folks
concert. All tunes are hits, but some were more show tune than
rock. For those who have never seen an Elton John concert, I’m
sure this came off as awesome. And believe me, Elton’s worse
days are far superior to most artist best days. But since I’ve
seen him perform many a time, I know the guy can bring down the
       house.
This concert was just a snoozer.
There was one highlight and that is when Elton performed Indian
Sunset, without the band, but backed up by Ray Cooper, his
percussionist. Ray has always been an outlandish performer. His
       movements exaggerated.
I won’t even talk about the most kick ass song “Saturday Night’s
(alright for Fighting)” Where a ton of people got up on stage
surrounded Elton and just became a nuianse taking picture or
video’s and getting selfies. WTF? Song totally ruined.

just saw that 3 hour Eagles documentary on streaming
netflix...I'd highly recommend it, and I am not a big Eagles
fan...but the story is very interesting/
