If Madge makes her way to my neck of the woods, I would consider
going since I have never been to one of her shows. It's long
       overdue.

Yea, she's been announced here. I believe starting at $45 up to
       $350.
I only like a small selection of her songs. In the middle years.

Hundred bucks says she gets completely naked by the end of the
show to generate some excitement on my part.

It's crazy, but it took me 28 years to finally get around to
watching Madonna Live: The Virgin Tour. Sheesh. Look, back in
the day I wasn't a fan of hers. Sure, there were a couple of
songs that I liked, but you would never seen me buying an album
of hers and epecially wouldn't be seen at a Madonna concert. So,
how was this? Surprisingly good for what it is. By that I mean
in the way the video was put together. It does come off like one
like extended music video and this is expected since this was an
officially released show by Warner Brothers back in the day.
As for the show itself, music-wise, the band reminded me of
watching those cheesy bands that played at Disneyland over in
Tomorrowland. The band was good, but you're not gonna seek out
who they are. Did they their jobs and did it well. As for
Madonna, she has made her name on stage production value. A true
production if you will. This one by comparison is pretty
lightweight. It's two male backup dancers. That's it. Also, her
dancing back then wasn't impressive at all. Kind of the new kid
on the block and clearly didn't get to crazy with any kind of
choreography at all. As a matter of fact, she basically stuck to
2-3 different moves for the entire show. Repetitive. But her
sexuality definitely comes on like gangbusters. I actually
enjoyed the songs. It was a good show.
I'm gonna try and see if I can watch every one of her world
tours, in order as they happened, year to year. That is if
people have them uploaded to YouTube. Otherwise this pet project
may collapse faster than a house of cards.

Well, I was expecting to see a show transformation from her
Virgin World Tour into the Who's That Girl Tour. Boy, did
Madonna ever dive head first and go all out with production
value. That said, it's still pales in comparison by today's
standards. Hell, even by 10-15 years ago standard. But this show
is definitely a huge step for her over the Virgin Tour. The
stage is huge, bigger band, more backup dancers, light show.
Everything. I will say that I actually enjoyed this show a lot
more than the other for the simple fact that it looks and sounds
like a oncert, and not a long-form music video.
For me, there are two highlights of the night. Well, three
actually. I liked that she opened the show with Open Your Heart.
The song still kicks major ass....even today. The next highlight
was Live To Tell and does showcase her ability to sing. It's one
of my favorites from her back catalog. But the biggest surprise
and definitely the showstopper of the night was the Holiday to
close out the show. But you have NEVER heard the song played
like this. This is about as close to a "Metal" song as you're
ever going to get from her. The regular album/radio version is
okay, but THIS version f*cking ROCKS! I love that they put
emphasis on the guitar riff and cranked up the bass and drums
for this. I can only imagine what it sounded and felt like live
in that stadium during that song.
