I'd actually go back to watch this on the big screen regardless
if it was in 3D or not. It's just that damn good.

Good stuff....I just wish these interviews were a lot longer.
It's always great listening to other people talk about one of
these films ever made.

I don't see it listed for my local theater... which sucks, I'd
really love to see this on the big screen.

Seems like EVERYONE is jumping on the T2 bandwagon for the
re-release. Can't blame them. Anyway, this is a pretty good
analysis that breaks down characters and their motivation. This
could have easily been posted in the Writing Thread given the
depth the video goes in to. Matter of fact....I think I'll post
over there as well.

Little background first. With the original DVD release of what I
consider to be one of, if not the greatest movie of all time, I
have upgraded with each new "Special Edition" version on DVD.
All told, I've shelled out money for at least 4 or 5 versions of
the same film. What I have never done is upgrade to the Blu Ray
version of T2. You would have thought that I would have done
exactly that given how much I love this movie. Granted, I've
only had a Blu Ray Player for 2-3 years now and I just never got
around to upgrading.....and I'm glad that I didn't. The copy I
watched I got from my Library. They have a very small selection
of Blu Ray's to actually choose from, so I was more than
thrilled to see they finally got a copy in. Having just watched
this version....honestly, I didn't see a whole lot more detail.
Sure, it was slightly more detailed, but I don't know if it's
the remaster itself or the fact that I'm watching on a brand new
4K TV. One thing I did notice was just how sweet the audio was.
No idea if they did a complete remaster there, but I have never
heard it sound this good in all the other DVD versions I have
owned over the years. Even though I didn't get much in the way
of a visual upgrade that I was hoping for, I still had a blast
watching this flick like I always do. Really curious what the 3D
version of T2 looks like and if there is going to be a
noticeable step up.
