Back in the day when this was released on VHS it may have been
the bee's knees of a band at it's peak in Concert Long-form
video. But this really hasn't aged well and kind of irritates me
in how it was put together. This too suffers from turning a
concert into a music video/documentary presentation. What we get
here is a concert with bits and pieces of behind the scenes
stuff edited in throughout the show. This sort of stuff just
takes me out of the concert-going experience. But as fas as the
show itself goes, it does sound and look good for the time it
was recorded. But the Set List, although good, is not one of
their better ones. Too many song omissions and the concert was
far too short.

Ha. That's awesome! Both Rudolf and Matthias have an acoustic
Flying V and Explorer. I've never seen that before. I want one
of each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great show. The production value both visually and
musiccally was all there. Obviously this was done with a
professional crew and attention to detail. Not sure if this was
for a PPV event or regular TV or for a DVD release, but you're
just not going to find a better Scorpions concert online
anywhere. The Set List was pretty damn near perfect too. Sure
there are a couple of songs I'd like to have included, but with
what we do get, I'm not complaining. Klaus voice is incredible
for someone his age and for how long he has been singing for.
Both Rudolf and Matthias were their normal stellar
guitar-playing self.
Watching this show it just boggles the mind that they would hang
it up now. They have a ton of gas left in the tank and are
performing better now than they ever did. Long live the
Scorpions! And it's nice to have something like this show to
remember them by.
