Yea, I'm getting a forbidden too

My guess is that once the page was established on Boyinblack's
computer, the cache saved an open link on his end, but for those
outside of his cache, we will see the 'Forbidden' error page.

yeah never heard of it either....Peaches..
..............
and
not sure why the link is forbidden...it works for me for some
strange reason
?
no big deal it's just an old painting and the words Black
Sabbath greatest Hits on it.
funny that some 25 years later that artist would be a pretty big
influence on my work though...even as a kid my taste was
consistent with what I am into now.

You sure it wasn't a downtown store or something? I heard about
it a long time ago. Or maybe I'm confusing it with Peaches en
Regalia.

It is interesting about those things that influence each of us.
It's the right chemistry of those thinks that just click in our
minds. Some things I can't remember what happened last week, but
I distinctly remember every detail of getting my first 5 albums
from Columbia records in the mail. Including Black Sabbaths
Master Of Reality. Every groove, the album cover, the hearing
new music. Crystal clear. My perspective may have changed a tad,
but still, heavy influence on my likes and dislikes today.

I remember getting my first Vinyl....of anything, like it was
yesterday. Very profound moment for me. FYI, it was KISS' Rock
And Roll Over at Sears....2nd floor.....small "Record" shop in
the back with crates and crates of Vinyls.

I forgot to mention in my original post about Tower Records,
that we had a 3rd Tower Records store that came long after the
first two. It was over in the La Jolla Shopping Mall just off
the Freeway. I completely forgot that it existed till it popped
into my head the other day. I think the reason why I didn't
remember it initially is because I rarely ever went there. I
would say I didn't go there more than 15 times total. I just
prefered sticking with the one near the Sports Arena.

Not sure if it was ever intended to be part of the store. The
one I went to never looked like it belonged at all. It looked
like somebody one day told the 'Manager', "Hey, we have some
extra space in the back. It's not big, but we need to fill up
that space anyway possible. How about selling some Records or
something there"? Then they just put up some tables, a few
racks, filled them in and presto..."Record Store". That's how it
came off to me.

oh wow cool.
I totally remember their last days...I was down there a few
times when it was all closing down....everyone in town that grew
up with that place was bummed it was leaving...and once it's
gone for several years it was impossible to drive past there
without saying "man it sucks tower is gone"
