[CENTER]Connie Britton Confirms 'Friday Night Lights' Movie

This is awesome news for me. I had no idea this was even in the
works. They had a great send off for the series in the finale
episode. So, I really don't know where they are going to go with
this other than picking up at Coach Taylor's new team/school.
I'm sure they will have some returning characters, but I can't
see them building the entire movie around the original cast.
Whatever happens, I'm down for this and I of course Voted Yes in
the Poll.
FYI, this is not to be confused with the original Fight Night
Lights film that gave us the series in question.

Yikes! Thread resurrection from 2 years ago! I was curious about
the status of the movie as I hadn't heard diddly squat since
Connie mentioned it. Well, this is old news (from a month ago),
but the movie is DOA. Now that I've had time away from the
series, I tend to agree that making a movie with the TV cast is
kind of pointless, especially in how well, and extremely rare
for a TV series, that FNL ended on such an amazing note. To this
day, I consider the finale to be one of the greatest ever for a
show. Top 2, just behind Breaking Bad.
