I don't know exactly what it is, but I just couldn't get into
this episode all that much. Maybe it had to do with so much time
passing from the Sneak Peak Episode a few months back till this
one. Whatever the it, this was just okay. One thing I don't like
is what they are already doing with Danny Glover's character. Is
this the extent of his involvement? Martin is just gonna pop by
everyone episode for a pep talk and then he is back on course
again? That's going to grow extremely tiring. It already is.
Expand it. The name Tim Kring still makes my blood boil. He may
have great ideas and concepts, but he hasn't been able to prove
to me that he can follow through with it. Just look at what he
did with Hereos.
Nothing.
Exactly.
Having said that, it was kinda cool seeing Jude Ciccolella in
this one. For those that don't know he played Mike Novick on 24.
I wonder how many former players on 24 will make their way onto
Touch.

Much better episode and the ending was kind of intense, topping
off with Jake screaming which was startling and unexpected.
Looks like they are going to give Danny Glover something to do
other than give Sutherland's character weekly pep talks.

Good episode where we learn a little something about Martin's
Wife (Jake's Mother) who perished in the Towers on 9/11. Follow
the Red Kite. Who knew that such a simple little thing could
work magic, reaching as far as Iraq. I thought it was pretty
cool that they revisited a couple of characters from the Pilot
episode. I wonder if this will be the norm for the series
instead of a one and done mentality. My guess is yes.

I liked the episode, but it could have been perfect if just for
one thing. How can we be expected to invest into the Doctor's
situation where he is longing for the Girl he has a crush on,
and then at the end of the episode he finally gets the courage
to talk to her. And then.....nothing. She doesn't say a damn
word. Flashfoward to when the Arab girl who checks on her
Facebook page to see that they are now a couple. Dude, at least
give her something to say in that moment so that we can connect
with her in some way so that we can feel what the Doctor is
feeling at that very moment of hearing what she has to say about
that moment. <------That is a run-on sentence for sure. Bah!
Danny Glover's character is turning out to be the most
interesting. At first I thought he was going to be underused and
not really offer much of anything to the show, other than
"advice" to Martin. Clearly the writers have something bigger in
store for his character.

I watched the series opener a few months back, and was
intrigued, but not enough to spend time in watching this series.
I think it will be dead before the season is over. Second to
NBC, Fox is the other network that cancels shows prematurely.

I think the show is good enough to keep watching. It's not
great, but still good. Whether is stays on the air is another
matter all together. If it does end sooner than later, that just
means we will get 24:The Movie which currently in limbo because
of Keifer's commitment to Touch.
