I'm actually very surprised that Kiefer is already back on TV so
soon after the end of 24. I figured that his whole agenda was to
make a 24 Movie and launch him further back into making
Feature-length films. Well, I'm not one to look a gift horse in
the mouth, so I'm all for this and the premise sounds intriguing
to boot. Touch comes from the "creative" mind of Tim Kring, the
mastermind of Heroes. Yeah, not something I would brag about
either. But if there is anyone on TV that will keep a show
running the best it can, it's Sutherland.

So, I just watched the Pilot and really wasn't sure what to make
of it at first because the set up was longer than I expected,
which was needed of course. Once the pieces started to fall into
place, the reveal at the end with all the peoples lives
intersecting made it all worth it. I like the characters of
Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland, Jake Bohm (David Mazouz), Clea
Hopkins (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Professor Arthur DeWitt (Danny
Glover), although I was expecting a lot more from Danny.
Hopefully his role will expand as the series progresses.
My favorite scene, other than the one with Jake finally
connecting with Martin, was probably the scene with the father
looking onto the jumbo tron to see his daughter. Very cool.
So, what are your thoughts on Touch after just the one episode?
