When I first saw the trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the
Sword, I was intrigued by what I saw, especially when I knew
that this was going to be a Guy Ritchie film. This was not going
to be the typical Sword and Fantasy flick. This was going to be
good and breath new life into the genre. Well, having just
watched it....er, struggling to get through it, I was very
disappointed in what the final product turned out to be. Maybe
there is a reason why traditional is what it is for a reason.
Guy is a solid film maker with his unique style and flair. But
it doesn't work in this genre. If you've seen any of his
previous films, then you're going to recognize his ticks as a
film maker, which then in turns just takes you out of the moving
going thread you have with what's happening on screen. It's not
only his ticks that were too much of a distraction, the story
itself was a complete mess with horrible editing choices where
you lose huge chunks of plot just to "move things along".
Definitely a Skip. 2 Stars out of 5.

It feels like he should have made Robin Hood and maybe Ridley
Scott should have made King Arthur... seems like a better
marriage of talent to the material.
I had really zero interest in seeing this flick as it stands,
and it's not that I'm not in the mood for a good King Arthur
movie, it's just... whatever this was, didn't look interesting.
