How the cast fought to remove a dirty scene from the script.

/> Knew about this, wasn't sure if you guys did, but d*mn that
would have ruined the freakin' movie.

Yeah, this is stuff I've known for years. I still found reading
the link fun. I'll read anything that's written about John
Hughes or The Breakfast Club. As for Rick Moranis, I cringe
EVERY TIME I hear about this 'Russian Janitor'. This would have
done more harm to the movie than the Skinny Dipping scene IMO.

It seems like EVERY Website recycles the same stories, but
dresses it up a little bit different than the last. You've read
them before.....but given the fact that only h a r d c o r e
TBC fans reside here, re-read them again. ;D

So I just got back from the theater. Packed theater, kind of
nice for a rainy Thursday. Lots of girls. But happily, a
couple in costume. Girl across the aisle from me was dressed as
Bender and after the movie I saw her other friends were the
other characters (no Andrew, but the other four). But there was
also an Ally that came and she was SPOT ON. Wow, I mean the
costume was almost perfect, she had the look... it was
impressive. Worth getting out of the house for.
Okay, the movie was in 2K, so there were these scanline things
going on, vertical, that just kept distracting me... gave me a
little bit of a headache. I don't think those will show up on
the Blu-Ray, but it's fair warning that we're going to get a 4K
sometime further down the road. And the colours felt kind of
muted in areas, I'd need to compare and contrast but I think
that the Netflix HD version has a more vibrant look.
I will say, at the end of the movie, a fair number of people in
the crowd held their arm up in triumph. So that happened.

I love the image of people in the audience throwing their fist
up in the air. Thanks for that. :)

It was neat. And they all did the right one, I almost did the
wrong one (and I wasn't as enthusiastic as the others for some
reason).
and I gotta say, I hadn't been to cons in a couple years, so
seeing people in costume warmed my heart.

I've fallen into the nostalgia rabbit hole on Tumblr... now in
my defense, I'm getting some ideas and inspiration, but there's
quite a few publicity stills and pictures from The Breakfast
Club (and other projects from the same year) popping up. But
here's one that I've never seen before
