War Dogs is a decent flick that draws heavily from things we
have already seen before. Sure, this is a True Story, but it
can't be helped that you will point out other movies that have
come before. Simply put, War Dogs is a cross between The Wolf of
Wall Street and Scareface with a scene lifted directly from
Goodfellas when they do the whole VO Narration at the end.
Instead of Stocks and Drugs, we are entrenched right in the
middle of the story of Gunrunners at the height of the Iraq War
in which two guys somehow managed to swindle and con the US
Government by awarding them a contract to supply munitions for
the Afghan National Army worth approximately $300 million.
Normally I would say these two characters types are idiots. But
how can I call them that when they were able to so easily con
       the Army?
Both Jonah Hill and Miles Teller both do a good job in their
respective roles. I gotta hand it to Jonah who is dedicated to
his art and packs on the pounds. I really don't know how he does
this for every other role and not run the risk of damaging his
health. Small cameo by Bradley Cooper which I wasn't expecting.
Anyway, decent flick as I mentioned. Worth a Rent at best.
Interesting story that I never really heard in great detail til
       now.
