So long...
...Ciera and Tony. This is going to be a fun season. It's
already off to a great start, unlike the past couple of seasons
that took awhile to get up and running. The one thing that Game
Changers has going for it is that this is essentially the
All-Star Season in which players from past seasons come back to
win it all. I know that a lot of people despise All-Star
Editions because it takes away from the new crop of players. I
for one enjoy these seasons because it's fascinating to watch
players either switch up their game-play because everyone
already knows what their style is or they just continue down the
same path with the same results. Most players have to adapt in
order to win, but there are the rare few that can stick to what
made them so successful. So, all eyes are obviously going to be
squarely on Sandra, the only 2-Time Winner on Survivor. I highly
doubt she will win this again, but then again, I said the same
thing before she pulled off the upset and won for the second
time. As for Tony, I'm glad he is gone. Annoying. Ciera is a
good player and that's why she got the boot first. Dangerous.
This was my second time watching this 2 Hour Premiere. I watched
it last Wednesday, but I was busy with other stuff that I missed
a lot. Had to see what exactly I did miss this time around.

...Caleb. I'm actually very surprised at this move. Not because
he was "strong" player, but because of Tai. He professes himself
to be an "honorable" person and player and he is anything but
that. Caleb was BFF in this season and the previous season they
competed on together. So for him to orchestrate Caleb's ouster
just further proves that Tai is just an evil person. Sure, it's
part of the game, but come on....this was cutthroat when it
didn't need to be.

So long...
...Malcolm. Talk about a shock. Yes, it's always a shock when a
fan favorite gets the boot, especially this early into the
season. But it was the Tribal Council that really did change
things up big time. Normal when there are 3 Tribes and 2 of them
are asked to go to Tribal Council, it has always been that each
tribe will vote off one of their own. The Twist this time was
that both Tribes would vote on just one person. So, as you can
imagine, there is a lot of scrambling trying to convince someone
from the other side to join them. It was funny seeing Jeff
Probst watching them scrambling during the Council for last
second guidance as to who to vote out. Throw in Tai's Hidden
Immunity and you have an epic moment to savor.

Vote Early, Vote Often

So long...
..Sandra. Well, it took 2 1/4 seasons.....Sandra FINALLY gets
voted off. To this day, I still don't know how she ever won
Survivor, let alone doing it twice. I don't think she is all
that good of a player other than being able to manipulate others
simply by "listening" to them. But then what the f*ck do I
know....she bagged $2 Million for her efforts. So clearly
something was working. I'm just glad she is finally gone. As for
Tai, he is beyond stupid. If he acts in 'real life' the way he
did in tonight's Tribal Council, then he has some serious issues
he needs to seek help on. Either he is completely unaware of how
he comes off or complete arrogance. As for Debbie, she is so
full of sh*t in how she presents herself. The first time she
played the game she liked to brag about how "tough" she is and
how all of her "military" training has made her such a badass in
life. She sucked then and she sucks more so now. She is
extremely fragile and also needs to seek help outside the game.
Kinda cool to see Cochran make a surprise appearance to help
with strategy on 'Exile Island".....a Yacht of all things.

What Happened on Exile, Stays on Exile

So long...
...Jeff. Man, he is going to have to live with what he did for
the rest of his life. THIS will define him moving forward. I
find it very hard to imagine him doing anything else that will
wipe away a moment he will regret forward. I was stunned when he
outed Zeke as a Transgender to the world. My eyes literally
looked like a cartoon. In a desperate move on his part shift the
vote from him to another player, he chose to make it known Zeke
has a habit of "deception", thus the reason why he outed him. I
don't think Jeff did this with malicious intent....he was just
stupid and shortsighted. But what is really baffling is that
Jeff himself is a gay man. He should have looked at his own life
and ask if what he was about to say and do was appropriate. As
for Zeke, the look on his face when he realized what had just
happened was very telling. A deer in headlights. I commend the
rest of the Tribe-mates coming to his defense. And to Zeke's
credit, he didn't rant or rave or point fingers. Very composed
and told his story as to why he kept it to himself. Now, before
people start bashing Survivor as doing this for "ratings", I'm
sure the Producers of the show ask Zeke for approval to include
this in the final edit. The episode itself gets 4 Stars as it
was another solid one....but this Tribal Council gets 0 Stars
for the revelation and 5 Stars for the Tribe-mates standing up
for him.

Reunion Show

So, Sarah won. Meh. There is nothing worse than have 3 finalist
at the end and no one to cheer for. A lot of the players I would
have liked to see get the million dollars were ousted fairly
early on in the game. Even though I enjoyed this season, it made
it difficult in looking forward each week to new episode with so
many people not worthy of the cash and title of Winner. The last
player I held out for was Cirie and when they opened the Season
Finale Recap that she has never won an Immunity Challenge in the
4 times she's played the game, I knew she was the next one to
go. Speaking of Cirie, her being "voted" off was one for the
books. Everyone left in the game was so paranoid that two people
played a total of 3 Hidden Immunity Idols, and with Brad having
the Immunity Necklace, that meant everyone left in the tribe was
safe from the vote....except Cirie. So, she becomes the first
person "Voted" off without getting one single vote. Man, that's
gotta hurt and will haunt her for a long long time. The Reunion
Show was good. Everyone was waiting to hear what Zeke and Jeff
had to say. I liked how Zeke has handled the whole thing, I
didn't like that Jeff made it about himself...promoting his
upcoming book. Really Jeff? Classless.
