Ya know, my library does suck when it comes to getting movies
into their system. We're the Millers is definitely a title that
it always seems to have on hand, but for whatever reason, they
did not....until now. Anyway, as for We're the Millers, even
though I wanted to check this out, I went into this with very
low expectations and was expecting a complete disaster. Some
people hate it.....I on the other hand found it quite enjoyable
and more importantly....damn funny in all the right spots. The
story is pretty basic: Road trip to and from Mexico to smuggle
in drugs. That's the extent of it. It's the chemistry between
all four actors portraying a traditional "family" that really
shines through. The movie and their performances have a certain
charm to it that you just can't not help but root for them. I
would definitely watch this again channel surfing. Yup, I
recommend this as a Rent. Even the end credit blooper reel was
damn funny too. FYI, Jennifer Aniston looks amazing during her
strip scene.

Everything you said is spot on. I remember going into this with
real expectations. Completely surprised me at how enjoyable this
was. I definitely had some LOL moments. Ya can't go wrong with
this one... IMO.

I forgot to give a shout out to both Nick Offerman and Kathryn
Hahn who both stole their scenes whenever they were on the
screen. There are too many scenes they have to even mention as a
'Stand out' moment. They were all equally funny and memorable.
If they did a spin-off with those two, I'd definitely be on
board for that.

You know, this movie and the Vacation remake made me realize
that no one takes holidays like this anymore. Remember, this
was when that awful word "stay-cation" was being bandied about
because people couldn't afford to go out and do sh*t. So
really, what we needed was a remake of The Burbs. Millers is
very much making fun of the idea of a family trip, there's
nothing in there that's inspired by actual events or memories
like the original Vacation was.
