       News Media

I think we are overdue with a thread on News Media. With the
latest campaign, the unveiling of Fake News, the The News
Corporations clearly becoming biased opinions vs. news
       reporting.
I've rarely agreed with Sean Hannity, to the point of shunning
him completely, but ran across this small discussion/debate on
YouTube, and thought there is some interesting perspectives
       here.
I've been saying lately, the news media is a real problem. Now
with fake news, I find it corrosive.

I assume Buzzfeed is a social news outlet. I've never been to
the site. I have been hearing a lot about it recently and not in
       a good way.
Then this is brought to my attention.
Again, back to fake news, rumors, no facts and just saying what
you want to say, with the idea, let the audience determine if
       it's real or factual. WHAT!
[glow=red,2,300]BuzzFeed editor calls for ‘new rules’ to cover
       Trump administration[/glow]
BuzzFeed News made headlines earlier this month for publishing
an unverified dossier about alleged connections between
President Donald Trump and Russia, and according to the
website’s editor, that might be the new standard for reporting
       on this White House.
In a New York Times editorial posted Monday, BuzzFeed
Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith called for “new rules” to be
established in journalism that support sometimes publishing
“unverified information in a transparent way.”

Get use to it. This is what it's going to be like for the next 4
years. The liberal media has an ax to grind and will and are
doing everything they can to undermine his administration
because they still have not come to terms with the fact that
their candidate failed miserably on the grandest stage of them
       all.
