Ever since the news broke that Grand Admiral Thrawn would have a
big part to play in Star Wars Rebels: Season 3

/>I have been itching to revisit Timothy Zahn's epic Trilogy. Th
       e
only problem is that these are 3 massive and long reads and
there was no way I would be able to read all of them before
tomorrows Season Premiere. The next best thing would be to hit
the Graphic Novels in it's place. I've owned the first
installment (Heir To The Empire), which is clearly the best of
the 3 for a few reasons. For starters, it reads incredible well.
It's concise and has pretty much all the most important stuff
needed in its adaptation. But the standout for me is the artwork
by Olivier Vatine. His artwork has aged extremely well over the
years and I just wished that he had done the art chores for all
       3. Dark Force Rising is drawn by Terry Dodson, who is amazing
artist himself. When a publisher can't afford Adam Hughes, you
call Terry to step in. The Last Command is drawn by Edvin
Biukovic, who I've never heard of before or since his part was
completed. Overall, the book is a solid read, but parts 2 and 3
seemed rushed because there was a lot of important stuff that
was left out during the adaptation. I'd still recommend this for
       sure. Check it out.

I'm actually very interested in checking out a few of the books
       on this list.
