Oh F*ck!
I just discovered Kim Jung last night while browsing through
Twitch. The thumbnail caught my attention and decided to check
out the channel hosting this very video. At first I thought the
guy hosting the video was the same guy in the video. Turns out
he just wanted to clue people into this incredible artist. When
I say "incredible", I'm doing him a disservice. This guy is on a
level I have never seen before anywhere. This guy is like
Einstein, Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, Steve Vai all rolled into
one. I was and still am astounded by what I just witnessed here.
Talk about feeling deflated after the fact. He's so good that I
threw my hands up and said "why do I even bother". Haha.
Seriously guys, you need to check this out. I do however
recommend you put on some diapers because you're about to p*ss
yourself silly. There are no blue pencils or light sketches he
is drawing off of. This is pure imagination and none of it is
random. He has a design element to the entire page and what a
page it is. It's the size of a wall, which makes it technically
a mural. Marvel at the emotion he outs into each and every
character. Marvel at the detail. Marvel at the extreme angles.
Marvel at the fact that he draws one line from another without
"laying" the ground work. You know what, forget everything I
just wrote above because...
....I'm speechless.
