       Woke up to the news that Jerry Doyle has passed.

       really only knew him from Babylon Five, where he had this great
       humanizing everyman presence in a sci-fi world (rather like
       Bruce Willis, who he resembled, in The Fifth Element).  I might
       be mourning Garibaldi more than anything else, but it's still a
       loss.  And in honor of his passing (and the shockingly long list
       of passed B5 actors), here's my favourite convention appearance
       of his, the ham story.
