Just woke up to the news that the Great One passed away. This
guy has been a part of my life....all my life and it's strange
that he is no longer around. Even though he has been dealing
with health issues for the last 30 years and wasn't in the
public eye all that much, his legend was always around and
that's something I latched onto growing up. What's really
shocking is that he was "only" 74. Because he has been around
for so long, I thought he was much much older. RIP.

When I heard that Ali had passed away, the first thing that
popped into my mind wasn't a fight of his, but this interview
with Ed Bradley. This is an interview that I have watched
multiple times over the years and there is one moment that
happens that always.....Well, you're just gonna have to watch it
and you will see why. Go to the 9:50 minute mark and wait for
it. Wait...........
;D

Ali was the beginning of my interest into watching boxing.
I've been watching extended news articles all morning on Ali's
life. I always knew he was an amazing human being.

[center]Billy Crystal's Muhammad Ali tribute - 15 Rounds (1979)

I had totally forgotten about this amazing performance by Billy
Crystal saluting Ali. If it wasn't for Ali's funeral ceremony
today with Billy literally the highlight of all the guest
speakers mentioning this particular performance, I may have
never remembered it. I've seen him perform this before, but I
haven't seen this one in particular. What makes this one even
better is that Ali is in the audience and they have an inset in
screen so that we can see his reaction to what Billy is doing.
If you have never seen this before, I urge you to watch it. It's
an amazing amazing performance that is riveting. It's so good
and it will have you grinning from ear to ear.
