My bad, I thought the V-Guitar and V-Drum were working with
software along the lines of this thread. It is not.

Hehehe
No
Seriously, kinda. I got the TD-15K, which is the upper mid
level. Mr. Brundell there is playing their flagship set the
TD-30. I love what he has. I also love his kit set up. In fact,
I'm going to work on that. Upgrading. I've got G.A.S.

Okay, I decided to put down a check list of Riffs that I want to
tackle. Some of the riffs I already know and are impossible to
forget, some I have forgotten and some I've never learned. As
for Zep, KISS and AC/DC, pretty much their entire catalog can be
added, but I've stayed with these for the time being. I will be
adding more to this particular post as I remember more and more.
Be sure to check back often as this thread will fill up pretty
damn fast. I'm also going to add Bass Riffs as well, but I won't
get around to playing them for a bit though.
Since I'm trying think on top of my head what riffs to add, I'm
forgetting a lot. So feel free to remind me of some riffs that
belong on the list. Thanks.

This is a custom created song from the first Rocksmith. Not bad
if I do say so myself.
Ok so there's already a sticky on this topic, but seeing
as it is now a little out of date with the improvements to the
Song Creator Toolkit I thought I'd post one, and someone
suggested I post a nice plain english guide with idiotproof
steps.
This guide assumes you have Rocksmith installed on your PC (most
people will have the Steam version so I will use that for folder
references, if you do not have the Steam version, when I say
C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith\ you
will need to browse to c:\program files\Ubisoft\Rocksmith[?]).
1. Download the latest version of the Song Creator Toolkit
2. Extract the contents (this can be placed anywhere, I use
..\Rocksmith\Content\SongCreator\ for convenience as I'm usually
opening it after copying a new song into the content folder, but
we'll get to that later)
3. Launch the Song Creator Toolkit (browse to the folder where
you extracted the Song Creator Toolkit and double click
RocksmithTookitGUI.exe)
4. Download your songs from the Packages section of the forum
(some songs will only provide the .dat file, this is the file we
need, some will be packaged inside .rar files and you will need
to extract the gooey .dat file goodness from inside)
5. Copy your .dat files into the content folder (C:\Program
Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith\Content\)
6. Go back to the Song Creator Toolkit and select the 'DLC
Packer/Unpacker' tab
7. At this point you need to select a song in the 'Update - App
ID' dropdown menu, and it NEEDS to be a song you legitimately
own. If you were lucky enough to download the free christmas
package you will be able to select one of them, if not you will
need to purchase at least one song legitimately through Steam.
The go-to song at the moment is Blink 182 - Damn It, you can
purchase this to save some time, as many songs will already have
the next step completed and will be playable immediately.
...so you have your legitimate song, you have your custom songs,
and you are sick of reading this crap.....well that's convenient
cause I'm sick of writing it....
8. Once you have a song selected in the 'Update - App ID'
dropdown click 'Choose DLC' and browse to your
\Rocksmith\Content\ folder. You can select multiple .dat files
here, to select more than one hold CTRL and click on each custom
.dat file* (there will be one or more labelled RS001SONG0000###,
don't touch them, they are the legitimate DLC)
9. With all your custom songs selected click the Open button and
wait for the 'APP ID update is complete.' message. If you are
doing a large number of songs in one go it may take some time
and there is no progress bar, so be patient.
Done, launch Rocksmith and play your new tunes. Repeat from step
5 to add more tracks and voila!
*If you get an application error after the Ubisoft logo you
probably have a corrupted .dat file. You will need to remove all
custom songs you have imported since the game last ran
successfully from the content folder and re-import them one by
one, testing the game each time until you isolate the culprit
and then re-download that file. For this reason I strongly
recommend importing a maximum of 3 or 4 songs at a time.
If you are getting audio lag try the rocksmith.ini file changes
mentioned here. I get near perfect audio latency with just that
tweak.
Gotta post the step by step in how to create custom made songs.
It could come in handy one day when I want to do one for every
damn KISS song they have!
