I loooooooooooooove this "game". Should really call it a tool,
but then again, the Guitarcade section is in fact games where
you practice a slew of techniques in 80's style arcade games.
One of my favorites already is Return To Castle Chorded. Man, I
really wish I had something like this back in the day when I
first picked up a guitar. F*cking slow-ass technology progress!

Last night I worked on Mary Jane's Last Dance. I always liked
the song, but playing it, man it just elevates Mike Cambell's
and Tom Petty's rhythm playing even more. There are changes
that I never knew from the song. So naturally, the changes as
simple as they are on paper, are pretty daunting when forced to
play at tempo the first time around. Well, the first 20 times
       around. Haha.
Today been working in Sessions Mode as well as Misson Lessons.
The Session Mode goal is that I have to play 20 minutes. The
bonus to this particular sessions is that it's a 'Heavy Metal'
band. Looooooooove it. But damn man, my fingers are raw meat. I
know I gotta step back and give it time to build up but like I
said, it's addictive and I don't like even putting my guitar
down for more than an hour.
No pics man. It's a beat up piece of sh*t Yamaha. I really wish
I didn't sell off all my stuff. Only thing I still have is my
Chandler Pre-Amp and Rack FX. Still have a 4 Track Recorder, but
that's another matter all together. Not sure what song I will
play next. There are so many on-disc that I kinda want to sample
each one and see what stands out as 'must learn right away'
       songs.

can I squeeze into this sentence? ;D

       RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! The
funniest thing you will ever see is me banging my head, rocking

To put it into perspective of how awesome this is, I actually
took a pass on Batman Arkham Origins which came out a few days
ago. First off, I'm a huge fan of the Batman series and second,
I played the demo of the game at Comic Con and liked it. But I
just don't see myself playing anything else other than Rocksmith
for the foreseeable future (except GTA when my fingers need a
       rest). Rocksmith 2014 ftw!!

You know, I've never really given Oasis a chance. Sure, I've
heard a couple of songs here and there over the years, but I
never really sought them out though. So, after just playing
through Don't Look Back In Anger.....for the 20th time, I gotta
say that is a FUN song to play!!!! My fingers are numb and
       petrified at the same time.

Looking at the last post in this thread, it has been almost a
year to the day since I last played Rocksmith. There was a few
months devoted to BandFuse, but we all know how they ended up.
TOAST. Anyway, I subscribe to Rocksmith on YouTube, and even
though I haven't played RS is a long time, I do keep up with
what new songs they are adding to the menu and a couple of days
ago I saw that they had an Arena Rock Pack that included Dio,
Poison, Autograph and Winger and one other song that is eluding
me at the moment. I love all the songs, but I chose to download
Autograph's Turn Up The Radio song as a stand alone (also
cheaper that way to). I went with this song in particular
because I loved playing the song back when it came out. I could
also play the solo note for note. But it has been years and
years since I last played it and thought this would be a fun
song to relearn and have the band actually playing behind me. I
also grabbed Survivor's Eye Of The Tiger as well.
