I haven't seriously sat down with it for a while. I had to stop
my lessons because 1 I didn't have time and 2 it was seeming
like a waste of money due to me not having time to practice. I
did however invest in a highly regarded home program so I can
jump in when I can and did just from the first lesson in that
felt like I accomplished something. just from that I would
probably recommend it for most anybody starting up.

Regarding that link you posted above, one of the questions I
kept asking over on the RB3 forum and toward the Devs was about
future add-ons such as FX Racks (i.e. Pedals). So it's really
cool knowing that we are getting this from the ground up in
Rocksmith and it's only going to expand even further when this
becomes a sure-fire hit, and I really don't see how it won't be.

The only problem I can see that this game could run into is that
people perception of it will be 1 of 2 things. Either a teaching
tool or just another rhythm game. in that respect it will be up
to the reviewers and the ad campaign to get across what it
really is. Also the requirement to have a real guitar handy
could deter alot of people even though there is an Epiphone
bundle available. The face that the software has an amp feature
that turns your home theater system into a very large amp is
going to be the bane of neighbors everywhere.

All the more reason to p*ss off my neighbors given that I don't
get along with them, nor do I even care. ;D

       I
wasn't expecting a strong list to begin with. The makers of the
game have to wait and see how successful Rocksmith turns out
before they can start shelling out the big bucks for the bigger
hit songs. I'm hopeful that this game is a hit so we can get a
lot more of the better songs as soon as possible.

Well if all the people that like it on Face book they'll have
atleast 163,000 copies sold. I can safely say most of the
announced songs and bands I've never heard of but thats what
these music games do really well, they introduce different music
to a new audience. I may just pre order this at my local GS and
get it with BF3 and then find a nice shiny coin to flip to see
what one I play first. BWAHAHAHA! No it'll be BF 3. I may just
use this on my 360 in my bedroom which I used to practice in
anyway and I have a chair to plop down in.

Added Guitar World Plays Rocksmith (Episode 1 and Episode 2)
It's pretty funny seeing Paul Riario reduced to that of an
       amateur player.

Went into pre order today and the girl behind the counter said
"You know this requires a real guitar right?" I said "Oh yeah I
know, I have one.". Its amazing what the though of a guitar
player does to women. I really should learn to play this thing
       better. LOL
