Finally somebody posted a very good quality clip of Do You Love
Me. I have been searching every couple of months looking for
anyone that was smart enough to videotape the JumboTron during
this song to get the KISS montage. Whoever managed to film this
clip got about 90% of of it, which is more than anyone else so
far. Everyone else that's posted their version of the clip has
people in the way, or drastic shaky camera issues, or too many
cutaways or horrible audio. This is the best sounding clip of
them all. This is EXACTLY what it sounded like live. So, why the
big deal looking for this one?
Well, they did the montage for Do You Love Me for the 1996
Reunion Tour which gave me chills and then again for the 2000
Farewell Tour. When I saw them in San Diego for the "last" time
during the Farewell Tour, the montage was just so f u c k i n g
awesome that I had to see it again. So, a couple months later
when KISS was in Vegas, I drove out there specifically for this
song and montage more than anything else. Also, seeing the
original lineup one last time was motivation too.

Yes, I will still be hunting for the clip that's 100% complete
with kick ass audio. But for now, this will definitely do.
Hopefully this will stay up on YouTube for a long time and not
get pulled down.

I like when Paul is doing the intro the one guy in the audience
does the "I know KISS better than you and tells his friend they
are about to play Love Gun!"

I can see why you've been hunting it down so long.
you should thank the guy....a little good Karma for things in
the future to help one of your clip hunts.
I always try and encourage these people to post...you never know
what they might bust out.

Oh I always make sure to give someone props, especially
something I have been searching for a long time. He will get
some kudos for sure. It's one thing to see it on YouTube, it's
another thing to see it live on a 50 foot screen. It still gives
me chills just think about what it was like all 3 times.

not calling out like "play Love Gun" but I know what the next
song is "Love Gun"

that's RAD......surprised they haven't included that on one of
the Kissology DVD's as a bonus...would be kind of a cool
flashback for fans who saw the tour.

You know, there was a bootleg that was floating around that
collected all of Paul's "crowd bantering" that totaled something
like 70 minutes when played back to back. I haven't been able to
find it on YouTube. Now, when I say bootleg, I mean it was
traded underground and at conventions. Not sure if it's ever
made its way onto YouTube, but I still check from time to time.

Well, when I picked up those DVD's, the Montage was what I was
hoping to get. But during the Reunion Tour Concert....nada. They
kept the camera on the guys and not the JumboTron.

I am sure you could put together a 20 hour dvd of Paul and all
his intros....hahahahahaah
I wish I could go on the KISS Cruise...but then I'd also wish it
was 20 years ago...and Ace and Peter were in the band
:)
could you imagine a 1977 tour on the boat...holy crap!
