I LOVE this photoshoot. This isn't the classic (famous) image
that we all grew up on, but it's from the same shoot (an
outtake). I wish I knew what the official "name" is for this
shoot so that I could google and grab all the takes from it. I
had the original as a Wall Poster when I was a kid.

I wish there was an official name attached to both shoots
because I would actually buy them as posters on ebay. But
searching through 3,000 + plus listings to find them is not
gonna happen.

I can't remember the photographers name...but it is the same guy
who did both shoots. I am 100% sure of that
ok I gotta get back to work...we'l talk later today around 3 PM
or so.
might spin a 1996 reunion show today

I guess it's called "Love Gun Cubes". I found two posters. One
that sells for $19.99 is clearly a new poster and not an
original print from the 70's. But it is of the classic image as
seen above. The other auction I found was an 'alternate' of the
above image. Not the classic formation, with a asking price of
90 bucks. Quality doesn't scream out horrible, but certainly not
something I'd pay that kind of money for, especially since it's
not of the classic formation image either.

one thing I realized searching around with all the KISS
collectibles...is there's a ton of bootleg merch...so you are
better off buying it from a hard core collector than ever
getting it off e bay
or asking on the forums or directly to one of those collectors
to get the key marking you'd need to look for.
kind of glad I am not looking for more than magazines...the
other stuff gets way more sketchy.

Very cool. I actually looked into the Library system last night
to check and see if they had a copy. Sadly they don't. They
STILL don't have Peter's book either. What the f*ck PB Library!
