Yea, I was pretty much thinking what you've suggested. I just
want to get the web site up and going.
Even think I'll use some kind of photoshop like tool to alter
       the image just a little.

How about logo's? How close can you get your logo to look
'similar' to another. Is it subjective?
I found a logo, but what if I did it with different colors and
different layout? But the core idea was the same.

Well, if you're dressing the site up with it, anything and
everything can be used. But you need to think long term. As I
mentioned earlier, your fans will know and may comment on it, be
it positive or negative. And I'm sure that you will want to
brand yourself with your own identity from music, fashion and
design. Personally, if I were you I would spend a little time
working out some original logo designs. You can borrow the
'feel' from other more popular logos, but I wouldn't outright
       swipe it.

Yea, I'm never been a fan of stealing a design. I just
appreciate good design and want something like that in
creativity. I was trying to convince myself for a few
nanoseconds, it would be OK. :-\
I'm going to ask my nephew if he would like to take a stab at a
couple of things. Logo and header design with font.
I was going to ask you, but figured you were quite busy and I
       couldn't pay you either.
I'm also thinking about going to our community colleges and
tasking some of the graphic and design classes with a challenge
(This actually happened to me when I was there in some graphic
classes). Again, I couldn't pay anything... it would be just a
       real business challenge.
I've got a web page design I like, from Go Daddy, and now need
to put some creative juices into making it look good for us.

Normally I'd work on anything you wanted. But I've been so
swamped lately that it temporarily derailed my own Sketch Thread
that I set up a couple of weeks ago. Ugh!!!

       already?
       Dayum dude

That kind of stuff happens all the time. **** happens

You know, Squarespace has all these built-in templates and a
What You See is What You Get editor, it's pretty cheap and
combine that with some cheap Shutterstock images if you really
need them, it's not that expensive to get a site up and running.
And you can get some good discounts as well, they advertise on
a lot of Revision 3 and Twit shows so check one out and go to
the commercial and there should be a discount code.

I forgot all about Squarespace since the demise of TRS. They
always plugged the site. Since then, I haven't heard anything
about Squarespace, even on other Rev3 shows.

Mac, I know you're working within Go Daddy, but you should check
it out. Get some ideas and whatnot. Who knows, this may in fact
be easier than Go Daddy. Props to Neumatic for reminding me
about this site. What shows are currently using the discount
codes to get a better pricing deal btw?

I have no idea, all I can think of is that 23andMe commercial.
They gotta be plugging it on some show... I think Framerate
might be, and How Did This Get Made.
