Stumbled onto Mr. Robot a few days ago and it f*cking kicked
major ass. I wasn't expecting much and came away from the first
episode thinking this could be the best new show for 2015. If
the rest of the season can maintain what they established in the
extended hour long episode, they have a sure-fire hit. I implore
you guys to check this out. It may be a TV series, but it looks
and feels like a Big Screen feature with fantastic writing and
finally the breakout role that has been eluding Rami Malek thus
far. Since this series revolves around the world of hacking,
it's going to take on the Thriller mentality. So, if you're a
fan of that genre, you are definitely going to dig the first
episode. Christian Slater stars as Mr. Robot. I firmly believe
he has finally found the series he has been looking for.

It's on USA Network. As for when, I have no idea. I caught the
first episode on Demand. It just started last week, so you can
       still check it out.

So, apparently when I watched the first episode of Mr. Robot, it
was a preview episode meant to get people on board before the
show actually debuted on the air. This was a couple of weeks
early and I kept waiting for the 2nd and 3rd episodes to be
uploaded on Roku before realizing that it hadn't aired until a
couple of days ago. Anyway, while looking for information on the
show, I've read a few reviews from critics/insiders and they too
have been raving about Episode 1. As I said in my own review,
this could and should be the BIG new series of the Summer. I
hope people watch it. Now hurry up and air the second episode
       already!!!!

It's pretty awesome that they already renewed the series based
on the reaction to the pilot. It's gonna go a long way to
instilling audience confidence in the series.

I gave it a shot. It's not for me. Like Blackhat I recently
watched, this is way to technical. And while I think Robot did a
better job of keeping a story, it was still a lot of "Code".

Finally watched the second episode and it delivered in that the
writing, acting and story is all there. My biggest fear was that
there would be a big drop from the Pilot. Those fears have been
laid to waste. After just two episodes, I can see the writing
pattern of how they are going to split the A Story and the B
Story. The A Story is of course the big event involving the
hacker group taking down the big corporations. The B Story (so
far) will have Elliot taking down bad guys that will benefit
someone else. I like that Elliot has to make a personal
sacrifice in choosing to do the deed or walk away. In this case
it's getting back at the only drug dealer that can supply his
drug of choice. Send him away and he loses access to said drugs.
I hope they continue onward with this type of A/B Story
narrative. The next personal mission will obviously involve
tracking down the other hacker that's peeping on his
       Chick-Friend via laptop camera.

Totally digging the series. I noticed that the shows creator has
written the first 3 episodes and this obviously plays into how
the tone has been consistent thus far. I'm curious if he will
write every episode because this is his baby. But can he
actually pull it off without using any outside writers or a
writing staff? Aaron Sorkin is the only one I can think of that
did it all. As for this episode, it was kind of f*cked up in
revealing that CEO's (or anyone that wants to be the Big Fish)
have the biggest flaw. Really not sure what to make of Tyrell
Wellick. The whole 'tying up his pregnant wife with a gag ball'
is disturbing to say the least. I like Elliot and Shayla
becoming a 'couple'. Take two totally f*cked up, flawed people
and you have something great to write with.

Kind of a f*cked up episode and totally by design. This one was
all about Elliot kicking his morphine addiction and suffering
through multiple hallucination as he goes through withdrawal. I
really didn't know where they were taking it. Nothing much
really happens in regards to the larger scope of the show other
than revealing some repressed feelings Elliot has. Still a solid
episode that is sure to step up for the next one as they prepare
to take on Steel Mountain. One thing I've noticed so far is that
each episode always comes back from a real commercial break with
a scene that plays like one. If you aren't paying attention and
I'm guessing most people aren't, you will get duped into
thinking you're still in a commercial break. It's clever in how
       they keep doing this.
