I know I wouldn't handle it very well if I saw such an outward

Wow. Just...WOW! How they moved 500,000 people in under 9 hours
is just mind boggling. This doc is only 11 minutes long, but
it's very powerful and make me proud to be an American. This is
a 'must-watch' clip for sure.

The museum isn't even open to the public yet and it moved me. So
much so that I will absolutely make an effort to go to New York
specifically to experience this first hand. You owe it to
yourself to watch this segment. It's not that long, but it
leaves an impression on you.

Every year I find myself watching countless memorials or
documentaries on 9/11. Today was somewhat different. I had
always wondered if I would ever watch the events unfold in real
time, which I haven't done since the day it happened. MSNBC
played the Today Shows telecast with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer
has they reported on what was happening. No edits. Just a 2 hour
long telecast from the start of the first Tower being hit. They
actually started the telecast at the exact moment it was 14
years ago, down to the minute so that it was literally 'real
time'. It was surreal to be reliving this moment again in this
way. As it is for most everyone else, this day still feels like
it just happened yesterday. I'll never forget where I was, how I
felt, not just that day, but the weeks and months that followed.
All I hope is that those that lost family and friends have found
some kind of peace. I know that is wishful thinking, but I do
hope each day is a littler easier for them than the last one.

Out of all the places that Pope Francis was scheduled to attend,
it was Ground Zero that I was most interested in seeing how he
would deal with this and what we got was pretty powerful. It was
somber, but it packed quite a punch with an entire stage filled
with different backgrounds and religions being represented. The
message was clear, we all may be different, but we are all the
same.

Sorry man, but that author is a douche. Truth or no truth, I do
not care to reads ones opinion on his thoughts there was
criminal workings by the captors. He sounds like a hipster who
wants to get read. So write something outrageous against our
hero's.
Major frickn douche.
