       > I don’t know what style to call this, or if this bike is just
in a style of its own, or what. Whatever the case, Er’s Teardrop
(yeah, a bike with a name) is like no bike you’ve seen before.
       >
       > Designed by Josh Hadar, Er’s Teardrop is a lean-back,
gas-powered bicycle made from some pretty primo materials. The
bike ditches spoked wheels for solid aluminum plates, while the
frame is made from rolled steel topped with a layer of nickel.
The gas tank is made of hand-blown glass with steel detailing,
which is connected to the 80 cc gas-powered motor.
       >
       > All that comes together to create something, although it’s a
little hard to say exactly what that something is. I feel like
it’s something you’d come across if you fell through a Stargate
into some advanced desert world? Maybe? I don’t know, man, but
it looks pretty cool. Definitely gets points for genuinely being
       unique.

Unfortunately, judging by what we are seeing so far, they are
not going to look anywhere as cool as these retro-futuristic
       designs by Andrew Serkin.

Is that bike really functional? Looks like expensive art and I
wouldn't want to risk damaging it by taking it out for a spin.

I believe it's functional, though I do wonder about it making a
       turn with that design.

So Netflix brings on a new series/competition about Steampunk.
Within minutes of season 1, series 1, the show is structured
exactly like all the other competitive shows. It's to early to
determine if this is a good or bad thing. It looks like the will
focus on people over the art, but let's see.
