Interesting episode, but a bit confusing. So Simon (Iwan Rheon)
saves a stranger named Peter (Michael Marcus Morgan) from a
mugging and the kid is grateful that a "Superhero" saved his
ass. Yet later on we learn that he himself has superpowers
where he is able to draw events with Simon as the protagonist in
his own comic book as a form of mind control. Interesting...but
confusing. At first when I saw Simon acting all weird, I thought
that he was still suffering from insecurity and looking friends
in spite of being a bad ass now.

Very interesting episode revolving around an Old man, Friedrich
Hirsch (Fred Pearson) who now is in possession of Curtis' former
Superpower, the ability to rewind time. Friedrich, a survivor of
the holocaust does what anyone in their right mind would do if
you had the 'Rewind Time' ability. You go back in time and kill
Hitler (David Barrass). Well, that was the plan. Things go from
bad to worse when Friedrich fails in his attempt to 'off' the
sum b*tch and drops his cell phone in the process which he
brought with him from the future. With Hitler now in possession
of the phone and it's technology, it changes the course of
history where the Nazi still rule the world in present day. It's
up to Kelly (Lauren Socha) to go back in time and kick the
"ever-loving-sh*t" out of Hitler, which was a nice moment. Who
       wouldn't want to do that?
Although the episode was interesting, there wasn't a lot of
humor to be found here due to the nature of the subject matter.
So to me, it kind of felt a bit off. It wasn't until the final
moments of the episode did it feel like the series of old. One
thing I will give the writers credit for regarding time
traveling is that in most cases the episode itself will not
exist in the mythology of the series, which this one does in
fact gets erased from. But the writers were smart to have Kelly
at least retain memory of the alternate history at the end, even
if the rest of the Misfits have no knowledge of if ever
       existing.
       The
       'travel-back-in-time-and-leave-valuable-technology-behind-thus-c
       hanging-the-future'
angle has been done before, most recently to my knowledge in
Journeyman, Episode 12: The Hanged Man
  HTML http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv's-greatest-hits-and-misses/journeyman-(season-1-entire-series)/msg4269/#msg4269.<br
/>Also of note, the travel back in time and kill 'Hitler' angle
was done to great effect in Journeyman, Episode 10: Blowback
  HTML http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv's-greatest-hits-and-misses/journeyman-(season-1-entire-series)/msg4238/#msg4238.

Five is basically Freaky Friday, only seriously depressing to
the Nth degree. With Kelly now trapped in the body of a coma
patient, it's up the rest of the gang to figure it out and save
her before the patient's life support is turned off, thus
killing Kelly. Just an average episode that only further
highlites how badly Nathan is missed here. Up till now, I have
been able to somewhat tolerate Rudy in small does. But here, he
is front and center and is very annoying. I just don't really
like the character all that much and his 'power' is just lame.
It's not even a power when you can basically do the same thing
with a Twin in reality. Nicola Harrison shows up as Rudy's
Shrink only to end up needing one herself.
As for the rest of the episode, you can now add....

No information regarding the actress that plays Jen, the Coma

The problem that plagued the last episode was back again this
time, only worst. Too much Rudy. He is so damn annoying. I can't
stand him at all. This episode was pretty bad and a huge drop
for the series. I can't believe that they have run out of ideas
already. So, the entire episode centered around his dick on the
verge of falling off? That's what they are going to go with now?
It seems like the show is totally without any direction. It's
like living the whole train wreck of Heroes all over again. Ugh.
One thing that was interesting was that Curtis, with his ability
to change gender identity gets himself/herself pregnant.

After a couple of lackluster episode, Misfits returns to
fantastic episode very reminiscent of the best episodes the
series has produced thus far. There's not a whole lot of episode
to choose from to really drive home that statement. But fans of
the series would agree its vintage Misfits. This one is all
about Zombies, or better yet, Zombie Cheerleaders. Some gruesome
moments to be found, mix in with some perfectly timed humor for
levity. Welcome back Misfits. Keep the good episodes coming now!
