Last Man Standing

Sad to say, but not only do I think Last Man Standing will make
it, but it certainly has taken a major right turn into a wall
and I won't be watching anymore. I'm not alone apparently.
I love Tim Allen's humor and Last Man Standing is continuation
of Home Improvement but with all girls this time. Great cast,
funny moments and park you brain at the door.
In the last few seasons, the show has become political. Yes
Political jabs from the Republican side. I could care less which
side, but idea of bashing politicians might seem a timely thing
to do, I find it incredibly distracting. Looses all the humor
and it's just not something I want to sit down to watch.

Sorry to hear that they have gone too far right (or left) from
what initially got you into the show. Personally it doesn't
affect me as I have never seen an episode. But I can relate with
other shows doing the same to me over the years.

I kinda get certain shows being able to do it. Political dramas
and such, but this is just so disappointing.

That is kind of annoying, and you're right, unless the show is
about politics (like Spin City), you really don't need to engage
in something so polarizing. Kelsey Grammar is really
right-wing, but Frasier is very neutral. They only got into
politics a few times on the show, and even then it was
restricted to stories about fictional characters that were
directly looking for Crane support or feedback. On the
Simpsons, Sideshow Bob ran for Mayor as a Republican, but that
wasn't nearly as important as the fact that he's just a villain.
Honestly, Last Man Standing didn't really do anything for me,
which kinda sucks because I like Tim Allen and I dug Home
Improvement, and they definitely tried to put similar elements
into this project, but... it didn't click. Lightning doesn't
always strike twice.
