Yay!!! Sarah Chalke!!! It was only a matter of time before she
made her way to Cougar Town. She will be on the show for the
foreseeable future as Bobby's new love interest, playing Angie.
Her appearance now makes it 4 former Scrubs players on Cougar
Town. I guess if you want to add Zach Braff to the list, you
can. But his "appearance" was on Laurie's cell phone as an App.
Andy "galloping" while giving his 'Braveheart' speech was very
funny. It was hysterical!!

If you are a Scrubs fan like I am, then THIS is the episode you
have been waiting for since that series went off the air. It's
not a complete 'reunion' as there are some big omissions, but
what we do get is a definite winner and a total surprise for me.
I avoid spoilers for anything I watch and that includes Cougar
Town. I didn't even know about Sarah Chalke joining the cast
till last week and I certainly didn't know anything about the
forthcoming Scrubs 'reunion' in A One Story Town.
Taking the Scrubs Alumni's out of the picture for a second, this
was one funny episode with regards to the Cougar Town cast and
just further proves that they are the best ensemble cast on TV
right now. From Travis and Ellie doing their little 'arm swing
dance' to Jules and Ellie's version of a 'Tom Cruise' run to
Grayson trying to prove he is the best kisser to Tom (Bob
Clendenin) repelling Quebecers, this can go down as one of the
best episodes ever for the series. Easily.
Now back to those alumni's from Scrubs. I knew I was in for
something special when they opened the episode with Ted (Sam
Lloyd) and The Worthless Peons serenading Jules, who ends up as
house guests. As the rest of the gang sets out to help Bobby
plan for his date with Angie (Sarah Chalke), I was having a
blast seeing her share screen time with Tom and then later on,
Ellie. And that's where I thought it would end. But then came
the end credits and what unfolded took me totally by surprise
and it was......

I just about hit the floor when Ken Jenkins, Zach Braff and
Robert Maschio popped up to share screen time with Christa
Miller, Sarah Chalke, Sam Lloyd and Bob Clendenin who were more
or less in "character" from Scrubs. It was the icing on the cake
to a fantastic episode that I'm sure to watch a few more times
before the newest episode of Cougar Town. I can only imagine who
Bill Lawrence has in the pipeline to make a cameo from his old
series.......

After last weeks epic episode, I feared that this one would be
somewhat of a letdown. I was wrong. This one was just perfect,
making this season the best so far. It just keeps getting better
and better. You can now cross off another Scrubs Alumni with
Nicole Sullivan making a cameo as Jules and Grayson's "Marriage"
Councilor as Lynn Mettler. Big news with the announcement that
Grayson has a daughter by another woman. Jules reacted in
typical fashion and then comes to her senses.
I like that they gave Travis and Laurie an episode to "flirt"
again. It's been a long time since they even really shared any
screen time together. Hopefully they can pick up right where
they left off and this time....take it a bit further. I think it
would make for a cool dynamic between the two.

Well, I guess that concludes Sarah Chalke's stint on the show. I
knew that it was going to be short but I was hoping for an
extension. Now, who else can we get from Scrubs to appear on
Cougar Town? Time to bring on Donald Faison and John C. McGinley
next.

It's always cool when Ken Jenkins pops up on Cougar Town. Bill
Lawrence really should give it some thought about having him
move in with Jules, especially right around the time that Jules
and Grayson get married. It would make for some pretty funny
moments. Cramping style ftw!! Also, I thought the Alice Cooper
inside-joke was very funny! Hahahaha.
