I didn't even know we had salt mounds until that link. It's
never been mentioned anywhere near me. I guarantee you that none
of my family or friends knew it either.

I'd love to see San Diego when it's not Comic Con time. Seems
like it would be real chill without all that pressure. But I
won't do flip flops.

They won't allow people inside SD unless you show proof of Flip
Flops in your possession. ;D

I don't know if I told you guys, but here in St. Louis we have ,
in the cold and snow, people that regularly wear a coat or
hoodie, cap, shorts and I've seen flip flops.
That's just messed up

I should head down there. It's only a 10 minute drive away. It's
crazy the waves are even that big given the fact that there is
no current storm or rain or anything but clear blue skies. Go
figure.

[center]Soaring ‘SkySpire’ proposed for waterfront
HTML http://fox5sandiego.com/2015/02/04/skyspire-competes-for-waterfront-space/
There was talk of us getting a huge Ferris Wheel at the Downtown
Bay Port in an effort to create a visual landmark that would
instantly connect people to San Diego all over the world in the
same way that Seattle has the Space Needle, San Francisco has
the Golden Gate Bridge, and so on. Well, the Wheel seems to have
gotten the axe and now we are entertaining ideas of our own
'Space Needle' At first I was like "why the f*ck are we copying
another city". But looking at the design, it's kinda cool. But
in the end, we really don't need this as Sea World already has
something similar, albeit very bland with nothing it it. Would
much prefer to have a 500 foot (The) Iron Giant standing over
the bay and saying "Roooooooock" every hour on the hour. ;D
