I've already started HC and been playing through it and
surprisingly, I'm not seeing all that much difference between
this and Normal/Casual. I may pull the plug and go straight to
Insane myself for a bit more challenge.
Yo, Umaine. When you went through your first go around on Single
Campaign, what level difficultly were you at? I started on the
2nd Level personally.

keep me occupied up to when Batman Arkham City drops. ;D

Holy crap! This is...Insane!!! Literally. I'm getting tore up
from the get go. This definitely requires a different approach
than the run and gun mentality. Moving along in short spurts.

My first play through was normal which is what I always play on
especially when I know I'll be going back through on the harder
difficulty level. I don't like my inital contact with a game to
be a frustrating chore which most hardest difficulties are. I am
stuck at the moment on my insane playthrough. Its the silverback
section on the boat where you have to shake the big angry fish.
It seems as thought the friendly AI just stops helping which is
making it nearly impossible,

I'm going back to Hardc*re. It's nearly impossible to do Insane
alone. It can be done, but not at the rate that I want to
complete before the other games start coming out. Once I'm done
with HC, I will shoot you a email if you're still up for Insane
Co-op.

Well if you see me on playing campaign then it will be on insane
and I have my party set to friends only so you can just hit X at
the main Gears of War 3 menu and the Y to join my game.

Are you still playing through Insane on your own? Where you at
in the game? Personally I'm flying through HC with ease. There
is only a slight difference between Normal and HC. But the gap
between HC and Insane is HUGE.

Yes the jump from HC to insane is pretty big. I haven't gotten
far. I'm at the fight the fish part with the silver backs. I
started it a couple days ago but haven't been back at it since
then. I'm also using it as my collect the collectables I missed
the first time through. Luckily in Gears 3 when you are in a
co-op game and ANYONE in the group finds a collectable and picks
it up everyone gets credit for it unless you've already found
it.
And yeas playing through on my own. I did Gears 1 and all of
what I've completed of 2 by myself on insane.
