I haven't really gotten a chance to explore everything that
Horde Mode in Gears Of War 2 has to offer. But with the limited
amount of time I've played Horde Mode in GoW3, I gotta say I
prefer this version, being able to build forts with sentries,
barbwire, etc...Some of the weapons, I can't remember the name
of it, but it's the one where one guy fires the gun and the
other guy has to carry the box of ammo, is awesome stuff. Pretty
damn cool.
So far, I have only been up to get to Wave 20 a couple of times
and in both cases, no one survived. Bah!!!

Okay, I was playing Horde 2.0 with 4 other players and we get to
and complete Wave 14 and then when Wave 15 rolls around, the
other 4 players dropped out leaving me to battle everyone and
everything. This was the scariest and most exhilarating online
experience I've ever had. I'm damn proud to have completed Wave
15 all by myself. Having said that, it sucks being the only
player on the map. I left after that.
Oh well........

I figured out why the other 4 players dropped out during the
game. It had to do with my 2 Day Gold pass expiring right in the
middle of the gameplay and during the little breather in between
Wave 14 and Wave 15 my membership reverted back to Silver.

Ugh. I went from the best team I've been a part of that actually
works as a TEAM, watching each other's backs and staying in
tight, closed formations to the worst team I had the misfortune
of being part of this morning. I wanted to get some Horde stuff
in before work and the team I was stuck with...SUCKS! What's
mind blowing is that the other 4 players were around the 15-20
Rank/Level. And yet everyone couldn't have been more clueless in
how they went about playing Horde.
Every player went off on their own, to the opposite ends of the
map and all I could hear on the mic was "revive me". There was
no team here. Just individual players wanting to do their own
thing. And on top of that, I was the only one fortifying our
fort. No one else did sh*t. To say I'm a bit miffed is an
understatement.

Arrrrrrrgggggggghhhh!!!!!! Another team, and we get to Wave
37...only to get mowed down. What's it gonna take to get to 38,
let alone 50? Bah!!!!
