This is something I would be very into. When I was a kid
(Elementary and Jr High), I had high hopes of becoming a
professional animator working for Disney. So, if this software
becomes a reality, I would love to get my hands on this and try
and create something visually from some of my short stories. I
did experiment with Flash 10 years ago, but the end result of
how it looked was too much like what you see on Webpages (duh!
That's what it's made for!!). But the idea of having a genuine
2D Cel animation product at the end is very encouraging.
Something I will be tracking for sure.

       That IS interesting!
I remember when I was a teen and decided I wanted to make my own
animated movie, drawing onto the computer (with a mouse!) and
using that to run the frames on a fast slideshow. Obviously it
didn't work, but MAN did I have ambition. What happened to that
       kid?

Back in High School, in my Wood-shop class, I built my own
Animation Light Table Box using the construction plans on the
back page of one of Preston Blair's book. I still have the book
and the table....neither of which has seen any use in years
       though.

I haven't used MY lightbox in years either... glad to know it's
       not just me.
