       Constantine

I don't think I'd even heard about this until right now. The
fact that it's on network doesn't fill me with confidence,
somehow Constantine + NBC... I'm wary.
But this picture... this sort of fills me with nervous
       confidence.

I've been hearing about it. I'm on the fence. I'll pay attention
       once it arrives.

Don't be too quick to blast NBC. I was VERY SKEPTICAL about them
handing Hannibal and they have blown me away with their ability
to really push the envelope and spend money on the series. It
looks amazing and is one of the best shows on the air right now.
In years past I would probably have felt the exact same way as
you do. But because it looks like they are making an extra
effort to re-brand themselves, I am more than willing to give
them the benefit of the doubt.

Look. I don't smoke. Never have. Actually hate the idea of
smoking in general and when people blow their second hand smoke
in my face, it's cause for a confrontation that usually doesn't
end well. With that said, I'd like to point out how so far up
their own asses NBC has. The ratings system in general is just
clueless about what is and isn't appropriate. We can get shows
like Hannibal that slaughter people left and right and we can
get shows that push the envelope of sex on TV. But smoking,
that's where they draw the line on standards? Really? WTF! I'm
on the side of the show-runner and the character in general. If
it's a vital image of what people associate with the character,
then I'm all for allowing them to keep the integrity of the
       character by showing him smoking.

That is rather mind boggling. Something else must be going on.
Wish they would clearly state what that network 'regulations'
       say.
Hell, let him show smoke and drive home the point of cancer.

I have to ask the question… would any reviewer at comic-con say
it sucked if it really did?
       Oh.... and more cleavage please

Yeah, I've seen a few TV shows and Movies that got tore up by
the audience. I think Comic Con audiences that attend whatever
screening are going to be even more critical of what they are
watching. You are asking them to wait in line for 4-5 hours just
for the sneak peek. If it sucks and you've wasted all that time
that you could have been doing something else, you're more than
likely to give a true opinion of said show or movie.
And yes, more cleavage goes a long way.
