       The Special for tonight...

       We go out on our date night once a week, but this weekend, it's
       a triple. Thursday night we tried out a new restaurant downtown
       and loved it. Farmhaus, they specialize as a menu getting all
       their products from local farmers... except the fish.

       One of the smaller places I've ever been in, but the focus was
       on the food. Small plates leaning towards Tapas, but a complete
       meal if you order enough.  :P
       The food was nothing like I've had before.  We started off
       with...
       [glow=red,2,300]Nachos[/glow]
       House made chips from local sweet potatoes, Salemville blue
       cheese, cherry wood
       smoked house bacon lardoons, fire-roasted red pepper catsup
       and
       [glow=red,2,300]Conch Fritters[/glow]
       Grilled corn, jalapeno, Sriracha mayo
       Awesome
       then we went for the entree
       [glow=red,2,300]Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf[/glow]
       Sweet and Yukon Gold smashed potatoes, sous vide pearl onions,
       tomato- merlot
       reduction
       We ended it with a variety of desserts including a Basil Ice
       Cream. By far an unusual taste. I liked it. The others not so
       much. Also deep fried Apple Pie... Double, Double chocolate
       fudge bar. Made my teeth sweat.
