56th Annual Grammy Awards (2014)

Man, this has to be one of the best Grammy's I have ever seen. I
can't recall a Grammy show that was strong from start to finish
with amazing, powerhouse performances from the most likely and
unlikely artist. This one was all about mash-ups as well as
reunions long overdue. There are so many things to talk about
and yet, it's was all a whirlwind. Fastest 3 and a half hours
ever. I honestly can't pinpoint what was the performance of the
night. Was it Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr's playing together?
Was it Carol King and Sara Bareilles? Was it Macklemore and
Madonna? Was it P!nk and Nate Ruess? Was it Daft Punk and Stevie
Wonder? Like I said, so many to choose from.
I will say that Macklemore and Madonna's will be talked about
tomorrow morning during Good Morning America and other talk
shows for sure. Never seen that many people crying. Big grown
men too. Along with killer mash-ups, there were great
performances from the likes of Taylor Swift, Lorde and Ringo
Starr knocked it out of the park on his own. Not going to even
try to post videos because they are just going to get pulled
down within minutes of posting. I will say this, if someone is
good enough to post the entire show, I will so grab it off
YouTube to keep for myself.

I forgot to mention that there was one incident that I was
really disappointed with and that was the final band performance
which had Lindsey Buckingham paired up with Nine Inch Nails,
Queens of the Stone Age and David Grohl. The first song kicked
ass, but it was what happened during the second song that left
me miffed. I couldn't believe that CBS started rolling credits
and show ads, completely cutting away from the performance. At
first I thought maybe it was a glitch, but when they kept away
from the stage, that's when I got p*ssed.
