Knowing that this show had been picked up for the 2011-12
season, I knew that I needed to read
       [URL=
  HTML http://pennycan.createaforum.com/books/are-you-there-vodka-it's-me-chelsea-chelsea-handler/]<br
/>Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea[/URL]. Having just
finished the book, I'm more pumped to see how it translates to
the small screen and how far the show can push the boundaries of
good taste and get away with it. I hope it does well. I like
Laura Prepon. who will be playing Chelsea.
       Premiere date TBA.

I just noticed this posting this morning. I have not heard
       anything about it, except here.
Is it a fall replacement kind of show?

Since all the shows have already started, my guess is that it
will be a mid-season replacement. Other than that, your guess is
       good as mine.

The show has been renamed from Are You There Vodka? It's Me,
Chelsea to Are You There, Chelsea? I guess the Network was
uncomfortable with having a show promoting alcohol in its title.

Um, that was NOT good. I wasn't expecting much, but I certainly
wasn't expecting a train wreck. I've read a few comments over
at Hulu and they say it's much better in the 2nd episode. We
shall see. Personally, I see a very short series run here.

The first episode felt like they were winging it, using the
first and only take of line readings and then moving onto the
next set up. I will check out episode 2 in a bit and see if it
       does get better.

This one was only slightly better than the first episode. The
jokes just are not that funny and are being thrown out there for
the sake of having something to say. The show has potential but
I think I'm just gonna cut my losses here. I don't have the
patience to sit through a ton of episodes before they get their
sh*t together. If it comes to where there is nothing left to
watch and I have some free time to kill, I may check back in and
       see where it's at.
