Kevin Smith made me want to see Cop Out. That's saying something
about the brillance of Kevin Smith in his ability to get you to
WANT to see a piece of sh*t (his words, not mine). Prior to
reading Tough Sh*t, I never wanted to see Cop Out, and this
coming from the biggest fan of the man and one that owns pretty
much everything he has on DVD (as well as his InAction Figures
and more). A master storyteller, Smith has a way with words and
Tough Sh*t is full of 'em. If you are a fan of the dude, you
will know what I mean when I say that the book is a series of
stories, each with a beginning, middle and end. This is
basically his Q&A's (An Evening with, Evening Two, Threevening,
etc....) in print format. If you want to hear (read) a man at
the top of his game telling stories that will engage and
entertain you, THIS is the book to get. This book is also kind
of a 'Self Help' book in that Kevin does his best to encourage
other dreamers out there to pursue their own goals. What more
can you ask for in a book that is funny as well as insightful? I
highly recommend this as a Buy.

What snippets I have seen with Mr. Smith, he is entertaining.
I would want to share dinner and / or a beer with him
Have you guys seen Red State? I understand he is currently
finishing up a horror movie and working on a new project....

Along with Cop Out, I have Red State being sent to my Library.
I've known about RS, it just kept slipping from my mind. The
book goes into great detail about the movie and got me to
finally put in my request for it.
