Meh. An okay episode that was more 'Mexican Stand off' than
anything else. We do at least get to see a throw-down between
Tom and Monroe, but it was short. Too short. I guess they are
saving the 'Big Showdown' for later. Oh well. One bit of
interesting information came out at that was the 'trigger' that
is used for the Brainwashed Soldiers. So, each recruit has a
number tattooed into the eyelid and when you read the numbers
back to the soldier, they flip a switch and become mindless
killing soldiers. Now Jason has been flipped. I have a feeling
that Tom will discover this within the first half of next weeks
episode. I hope so. I really don't want they to drag this out
too long. Miles letting one of the Soldiers escape is going to
come back to bite him in the ass. My guess is that the kid comes
back and ends up killing Gene Porter and Rachel is going to have
to deal with the guilt because she was the one to convince Miles
to let the kid go.

"Gus Fring" killed "Ted Beneke". ;D I like that Revolution has
a lot of actors/actresses from both Breaking Bad and 24. We even
get Reiko Aylesworth in on the fun with her appearance. Not sure
how long she will be around for. I love Reiko and have been a
huge fan of hers for a long time. But ever since he swan song
from 24, she pops up here and there and different shows, but
never as a regular. It's usually a short arc and then they kill
her off. So, I'm hopeful that she will stick around longer than
she has in years past. As for the rest of the episode, it was
okay. All it was was Monroe taking out a camp. Lots of
bloodshed, but not a whole lot of plot being advanced.

Wow, I did not see that coming at all. I'm surprised that they
killed off Jason because I thought they were going to use the
'Love Triangle' for Charlie and give her one of two options in
which way to go. Having it come down to her actually pulling the
trigger made it even more shocking. They did a great job in show
this scene along with the assassination attempt on the President
of Texas, which made an already tense buildup even more epic.
Man, I can only imagine how Tom is going to take it when he
hears the news about his son Jason. Charlie will now become his
public enemy #1.

Revolution is notorious for basically walking around in circles
with no clear objective where to go and what to do next, much
like the story's plot. It's aimless and doesn't really seem to
have any kind of end game. With that said, I still keep coming
back to the show. Why? For starters, I do like the cast of
characters. They are at least entertaining. Another thing I keep
coming back is because they always seem to have that one scene
that keeps giving me hope that there is something worthy of my
time and in $#!& Happens, there were a couple of them. The first
and most profound one was Charlie telling Tom that she killed
Jason. Talk about a whopper of a scene, full of dread and
sorrow. I thought both were fantastic here. The other was Miles
reflecting on his life as he was about to end his. I knew wasn't
going to go there, but it was fun to watch it play out though.

Other than Miles double crossing Monroe to steal away the
Mustard Gas Tanks from him, the only interesting thing that
happens comes in the final scene when it looks like Tom and
Monroe will be joining forces now that Tom has learned that his
wife has been "killed". I'm not entirely convinced that is the
case though.
