Episode was just okay for me. Kind of another 'holding pattern'
episode that is used to set up something bigger down the road.
With Charlie and Gramps, they learn that they are about to be
hit with a Typhus outbreak. And with Monroe rescuing his son,
they begin their plot to get back his Republic Army, which
obviously won't sit well with Miles and company.

This one was fun. Kind of hard to imagine an episode being fun,
especially one that is centered around a deadly virus outbreak,
but this one was. Once it's learned that the Patriots are
actually targeting specific types of people to be susceptible to
the disease, it's just a question of how they can find the
antidote. Stabbing the Captain with an infected syringe was
something I saw coming a mile away. I've seen it done countless
times in other shows as well as movies and it still works. The
Mexican standoff at the end has me impatiently waiting for next
weeks episode. I like the back story involving Tom and his wife
in their efforts to save Jason. The flashback scenes were
particularly good in fleshing out their characters and how they
ended up using their wits over brawn in getting what they
needed.

Nice little Heist setup going on. Too bad it doesn't have the
desired results. Sets up next weeks episode, pitting Monroe
against his son in what appears to be "Thunderdome". I wonder
what is up Charlie's sleeve. Gotta be something at work there if
she is willing to sleep with Monroe's son. What it is, I have no
idea.

The most interesting about this episode is the final shot in
which Aaron is "teleported" back in time (before the blackout).
Well, who really knows. It could be the entire series takes
place in the past and he woke up from a "dream" and is
remembering what will happen in the future. Or, everything does
in fact take place in the future (where the story has been
riding for 2 seasons) and is indeed transported back in time.
Either way, he does remember the nano tech. Very interesting.
The third option would be that the Nano is f*cking with his head
for trying to shut down and kill the AI. Beyond that, this was
just an okay episode for me. Even having Charlie "dressed to
kill" was kind of weak. For whatever reason, they don't want to
put her in anything remotely sexy, even if the scene calls for
it.

Awesome episode. Shortly after I posted my review from last
weeks episode, I kinda figured out that it would in fact be the
nanotech manipulating Aaron into believing a new reality. Sure
enough, that's exactly what we get in this episode. I even liked
that they threw in the Matrix inside-joke too, because it was
basically just that. Pretty suspenseful hour which also gave us
a chance to see some familiar faces that are no longer on the
show. Zeljko Ivanek had a nice big return as one of the 'Bad'
nano-tech trying to get Aaron to fix the code. They even brought
back Daniella Alonso. Unfortunately, all she got was a cameo.
They should have done something more with her instead of just
having Aaron bump into her on the street. The ending was pretty
good too. I knew that the Nano would have one last trick to get
Aaron to fix the code. Saw it coming a mile away. But it was
still fun.
