MTV VMA's 2013

So, I watched the MTV VMA's last night and this was the first
show I had watched from start to finish in probably 15 years. I
was intending to have it on as background noise more than
anything. But the performances did catch my attention. So much
so that I really didn't get a whole lot of work done.
So, Lady Gaga opened the show and say what you will about her
"fashion" sense, especially the stupid costume she wore with the
thing on her head, she did put on a great performance. As for
Miley Cyrus, she annoys the f*ck out of me, but you couldn't
take your eyes off of her last night because she was doing
everything she could to create controversy. I can only imagine
what Billy Ray squirming in his chair watching her "little girl"
stimulate m a s t u r b a t i n g on stage for 10 minutes and
topping it off getting "banged" doggy style by Robin Thicke.
Undoubtedly the show stopping performance goes to Justin
Timberlake. Now THAT's how you bring down a house. It was a 10
minute medley song performance that will be talked about for
years to come. The biggest surprise wasn't that there was a mini
reunion with NSYNC. Worst kept secret ever. Biggest surprise was
how much weight they all gained. You could tell that midway
through the song they were all gassed trying to keep up with
Timberlake.
Timberlake may have gotten performance of the night, but the
song of the night easily goes to Bruno Mars for Gorilla. Awesome
performance. Looked like I was watching a KISS concert mixed
with a laser show. Katy Perry closed at the show and it was very
entertaining. Liked it. As for the awards.........who the f*ck
cares.
FYI, what the hell happened to Lil' Kim? Why did she start doing
plastic surgery on her face? She now looks exactly like Latoya
and Michael Jackson, which is a shame because before that, she
was incredibly gorgeous. Now, not so much. She looks bad.

They keep getting pulled down. You're best bet would be to catch
one of the billion reruns they will air this week.

Ugh
Reading all kinds of stuff about Ms Cyrus and her little
entertainment grab. While I haven't seen it, I really don't
care.

She thought she was being provacative, but she wasn't at all.
Look, if you want to do head-linging, attention grabbing things
to get your name out there, that's fine. Just don't do it when
you're trying to sell your music because you end up devaluing
yourself along with your music you're promoting and no one is
gonna talk about your songs the day after. Christina and Britney
tried the very same thing and it backfired. Let the music do the
talking. Period. Having said that, she doesn't have music to
fall back on. She sucks at singing, dancing and finger-banging.
