Vampires, and Zombies[/glow] - David Spurlock
I came across this book accidentally in the library, picked it
up because it looked interesting. And it is. Don't count on this
being too much an instructional book, but more of highlights and
best examples kind of advice. The illustrations are gorgeous,
the comments are typically specific to the illustration pointing
out the finer details to expand ones horizons on drawing. The
range goes from the first drawn monsters with EC comics to
today's contemporary artists. Chapters split up by Frankenstein,
Werewolf, etc with additional chapters on technique. There is
not a lot of words here that go on and on. I imagine someone can
read the entire book in about an hour.
