Now... I feel old. Went to the CW site and I guess it's their
'social' sites with twitter and Facebook. I can't get into
Facebook because I don't do it. twitter was, uh, extremely
uninteresting. People making mindless statements about anything
but the show.
I did a Google search on reviews and they were all positive...
but I'm pretty sure they were from professional critics that
watched them sans commercials.
(sigh)

The fact that Drew Carey was garbage at improv for the most part
was part of the fun, I mean, the BEST ones were the ones where
the performers couldn't keep it in or kept screwing up.

I did like Overhead Fun bit where they were laying on the floor
acting out a scene.

I had both Episode 1 and 2 on DVR, but I've been busy working
out of my office all week and just haven't found the time to
kick back in the living room and watch them. I knew that I would
be able to watch the episodes eventually on CW via Roku. So, did
just that right now. The first episode was just okay for me. But
it was the second episode that just knocked it out of the park
for me. So damn funny and so goooooood. Kevin McHale was
fantastic in all 3 of his skits. Wayne Brady rocked it during
his improv Gospel song and Kevin did the same as well. I thought
the competing singers skit was just as good if not better. The
Magic Mat skit was hilarious.
Tyler was okay and wasn't annoying as I feared she might be. She
is still trying to find her footing somewhat. I do miss Drew
Carey though. I am hoping for a surprise cameo in a future
episode, but that probably won't happen since he is employed by
CBS now.
Well, watching it via Roku saved me the trouble of dealing with
any commercials as this was "commercial free" for me. I think I
will forgo watching it live and just watch it via Roku instead.
Only downside is that CW doesn't air the newer episodes until 8
days later, which I'm okay with as its commercial free. Viva le
Roku!

How are you watching the shows on Roku cause that could save me
from having to stay in the living room when I don't want to.
